This recipe has been passed down for generations over hundreds of years.  My Tia in Belize taught me how to make this just like she was taught by her grandmother on an open fire. Made with raw peppitos (pumpkin seeds) green tomatoes, and wild herbs indigenous to Belize, this sauce has a flavor like no other I have ever tasted.  The Mayans used it as a sauce on wild pork, tapir, birds and manatee. This sauce will give you a true look into the flavors of the ancient Mayans.
